Pen Ryn Estate

Venue

Pen Ryn Estate is a historic estate dating back 275 years. The property sits on 100 acres and provides a calming atmosphere for your big day. They have a mansion, manor, and riverfront estate so it’s hard to go wrong. They also do almost everything in house so that your wedding can be as stress free as possible.

Getting ready

One part of a wedding day I love is when a couple has a toast to start off the day with their wedding party. The bride and bridesmaids in their getting ready suite and the groom and groomsmen in theirs. It’s a fun way to kick off the day before the craziness begins. In this case Cayla had her toast and it was followed by the rest of her stunning getting ready photos. While Samuel took his photos and toasted with his groomsmen at the end of the morning. No matter what order you choose to go about your morning it is always a part of the day that won’t be forgotten.

Portraits

If you are looking for a unique couple and bridal party portrait spot Pen Ryn has you covered. Cayla and Samuel chose to have pictures in the library, with its rich colors and extravagant molding it made for timeless and sophisticated pictures. They did also take some photos outside because Pen Ryn offers a stunning landscape as a backdrop. Overall if you are looking for the perfect indoor and outdoor locations this is where you want to be!

Ceremony

Cayla and Samuel’s ceremony was held outside. The day was gorgeous and with the Delaware river as a backdrop it made for a perfect ceremony. Prior to the ceremony guests were welcomed with a refreshment table as well as umbrellas to shield them from the sun. Another fun touch was the newspaper program that guests could take and read through. I love when couples add these fun elements to their weddings, it makes for something guests will remember when looking back on your day.

Reception

I love a good party almost as much as I love a good dessert spread and Cayla and Samuel’s wedding had both! Their guests knew how to have a good time and it translates perfectly in the photos. Everyone was happy to be there celebrating and dancing the night away. On top of that everyone left happy and fed because the dessert was no joke. A whole table of sweet treats made for a delicious end to the night.
