For your dreamy garden style wedding, Appleford Estate on the Main Line is the place to go. This 24 acre property in Villanova is the perfect location for an intimate wedding or a 200 person party. With use of the house as well as the gardens you are sure to have the most amazing and unique photos.
If you know me you know I’m a sucker for a first look of any kind. Victoria and Christopher didn’t have a first look before their ceremony but that didn’t stop Victoria from getting those fun reactions from her bridesmaids as well as her father. I love how a bride lights up a room during first looks as she gets hyped up by all of her favorite people. Victoria also had an impromptu first look with her grandmother which ended up being some of the sweetest photos!
If you are a Church bride looking for a light and airy Church space look no further than St. David’s Episcopal Church. The space is so light and open, it was very easy to get stunning photos. Victoria and Christopher had such a special ceremony, it was clear to see the love that they have for eachother. I felt so lucky I was able to capture that special memory for them.
As photographers we don’t always talk about family portraits. However, family is a huge part of a couple’s big day, they are the people who helped raise the couple and the people who have been there from the start. I love getting to watch a couple interact with their family during this time. As a photographer I will have you write out what shots you want with each family. Make sure as a couple when you make the list you add every possible shot you want so that we don’t miss anyone important along the way!
There are so many different places to take couple portraits at Appleford Estate. From the lush gardens to the woods and meadows you won’t run out of photo locations. If a venue has a ton of picture locations make sure you let your photographer know which ones are your absolute favorites so that they know to prioritize photos in those spots.
Appleford Estate’s tent offers a homey, enchanting feel. It’s hard to encompass both of those things but Appleford does it seamlessly. Victoria and Christopher chose to have one table for them and their bridal party which also adds to the homey feels. Everyone at one table gives everyone the opportunity to be close to the couple and interact with them throughout the night. Then of course Victoria and Christopher were able to dance the night away with their favorite people!
