Venue

Consistently ranked one of the most beautiful libraries in the world and for good measure. The George Peabody Library provides a breathtaking and unique experience for your wedding. With over 300,000 books it’s the perfect place to start your next chapter. Since the library is a school first, weddings are only booked Friday-Sunday and they have pretty strict time constraints. This doesn’t stop them from hosting tons of weddings a year though. From the moment you walk into the enchanting library you feel like you have been transported to somewhere truly magical. 

Flatlays

I was absolutely obsessed with Haley and Brett’s flatlays. Between the different color tones and simple cards it made for gorgeous pictures. Going along with the library theme I added in some books, a magnifying glass, and a key to some of the shots. This added to the magical and enchanting feel that the rest of the day had as well.

Ceremony 

As if the George Peabody Library wasn’t enough architecture for this wedding, Haley and Brett held their ceremony at the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish. The church itself offered its own spectacular views. Haley and Brett said their “I do’s” surrounded by friends and family in a lovely ceremony. The bright church walls also offered the perfect location for light and airy photo opportunities. 

Bride and Groom Portraits 

I can go on and on about the locations Haley and Brett picked for their big day. I would be remiss not to mention Haley and Brett themselves. It’s one thing to have a stunning venue but it’s another thing entirely to be a truly stunning couple inside and out. Haley and Brett were such a fun couple to work with. And to go with the theme of enchanting architecture, couple portraits were taken at Rawlings Conservatory and Druid Hill Park. The timing for couple portraits offered the most amazing lighting so each picture gave off a golden hour glow.

Reception

There is no bigger wow factor than walking into the George Peabody Library while set up for a wedding. If you are an avid reader then I can assure you this is the venue of your dreams. Between Haley and Brett’s romantic tablescapes to the string lights that get added to the library for weddings it truly takes your breath away. Haley and Brett were able to do a pre first dance before everyone was seated and the photos I was able to take from above are extra swoon worthy.
