Like all Cescaphe venues The Down Town Club has its own unique charm. The Down Town Club overlooks Independence Hall, the Delaware River and was built with a stunning Georgian elegance. This rich blend of American history creates a luxurious location for any couple looking to get married. As is the same with all Cescaphe venues if you choose to hold your ceremony on site you will automatically get an extra half hour added to your event. 

Piano Photos

It’s always nice when there is an elegant centerpiece to elevate photos. In Sara and Grahams case it was a grand piano. Using the piano created a romantic and sophisticated ambiance in photos while also helping to create dimension. Music itself is closely associated with romance and having the visual presence of a piano serves as a metaphor for the rhythm and flow that make up a strong relationship. If you have the option to add a prop such as a grand piano to photos I definitely recommend it as it helps tell a story through each photograph. 

Reception

Centerpieces play a crucial role in setting the ambiance of a reception space.  While florals are a popular choice, the elegance and warmth of candles as centerpieces offer a unique beauty that can transform any space. They also offer versatility. While Sara and Graham went with classic white candles in hurricane vases, you can also use colorful votives to create a fun atmosphere. I also love when couples take their wedding as a time to give back. Sara and Graham donated all their florals to seniors in nursing homes, hospitals, and other care communities. It’s a wonderful way to get the most use out of the gorgeous floral arrangements at a wedding. 

Indoor photos

Sara and Graham had a bit of rain on their wedding day. While we had clear umbrellas, which are always a great thing to have on hand they were able to pivot indoors for photos. Making sure you love the indoor locations of your venue is important for reasons like this. The Down Town Club has an extravagant door that we used as the backdrop for photos. It created a regal atmosphere which enhanced photos.
