I love being an East Coast photographer because there are so many locations with an immense amount of rich history. Bellevue Hall is one of those places. Bellevue Hall, originally called Woolton Hall Castle was completed in 1855 and was purchased by the prominent DuPont family who refurbished it with Greek architecture in mind. The state of Delaware purchased the property in 1976 and it has become an iconic part of Bellevue State Park.
April can be one of the best months for an engagement session. Nature is awakening from its winter slumber, and the cherry blossoms begin to bloom. This creates a breathtaking backdrop that is nothing short of magical. The delicate pink and white petals exude a sense of romance and renewal making them an ideal setting for couples during their engagement sessions. As if the cherry blossoms aren’t enough to convince you of an April session the temperature should also be considered. April has the perfect temps which is perfect for outdoor photography.
Nature offers a stunning backdrop with beautiful lighting, vibrant colors, and serene settings. Architecture adds an urban flair to photos. Between the textures, lines, and shapes it adds a modern feel to photos. Using a mixture of nature and architecture makes any gallery unique. This means you will have more variety in your finished gallery!
