Getting Ready: 

There’s something incredibly special about getting ready for your wedding in the place where you grew up. As a photographer, I’ve seen how this setting brings out emotions and memories that make the day even more magical. Plus, there is a certain comfort that comes from being surrounded by the things that shaped you. It’s a beautiful blend of nostalgia and excitement, and I strive to encapsulate that in every shot. For Katelyn, being surrounded by the little details of her home added to the magic of the morning! 

Couples Portraits:

Katelyn and Kevin’s couples portraits turned out so beautifully, it was so easy to capture the joy and love radiating off of them. It was amazing to see how comfortable they were with each other, and that genuine connection translated beautifully into every shot. We all know wedding days can get a bit hectic, but Katelyn and Kevin managed to stay present and relaxed which always makes for more authentic photos. It helps that French Creek Golf Club offers stunning places for portraits around the property.

Reception:

As a photographer, I get to witness some of the most incredible and intimate moments during the big day. During the reception it’s important to not only get photos of the couple but also of their guests who helped shape them into who they are. From the first dance where there’s usually not a dry eye in the room, parents dances which are always packed with emotion, to speeches which are usually filled with laughter and genuine reactions from guests, and finally dancing. Dancing is always fun to shoot and Katelyn and Kevin’s wedding was no different. It’s always a joy watching everyone dance the night away after all the formalities are over.
