Mansion On Main Street

Venue

Mansion on Main Street is one of those venues that makes the day feel really grand. It offers couples that classic South Jersey feel with its grand staircase, chandeliers, and tall windows that offer a ton of natural light. The property itself is the perfect mix of manicured and romantic which means couples portraits are always so beautiful. The outdoor ceremony space is also one of those spaces where it’s impossible to get a bad photo. If dramatic and elegant photos are what you’re looking for then you can’t overlook this venue.

Getting ready

I love when a getting ready location offers clean, and neutral backgrounds. Soft colors paired with natural light creates a dreamy backdrop that doesn’t compete for attention in the photos. For Alina and Steve both getting ready locations were a photographer’s dream. With minimal background noise the photos have an effortless and timeless feel to them. The space can definitely change the whole tune of a photo so when looking for a getting ready location it’s important to look for simple and bright locations.

Bridesmaid portraits

If you have ever been a bridesmaid who said “what do I do with my hands” this is an idea for you. Alina had the cutest idea to add parasols to portraits. It instantly added a playful vibe to the photos. It felt soft, feminine, and just different enough to make portraits stand out from the rest. Some of the groomsmen even got in on the fun during bridal party portraits. It made for lots of laughter and candid moments. 10/10 accessory choice!

Ceremony

Outdoor ceremonies at The Mansion on Main Street are breathtaking. The giant white facades offer a dramatic backdrop while the light filtering through the trees offers a romantic element. The ceremony space itself feels tucked away and intimate like you and your guests are the only people in the world. Alina and Steve had the space decorated in a way that enhanced the space and brought even more dimension.

Dress change

Alina decided for the reception she would do a dress change. I love when brides opt for this because it offers a whole new wow factor moment in the day. The second look is usually a little lighter, sassier and made for dancing with everyone all night long. It’s a great pivot from the classic formal dress to a dress that screams party-ready.
