Venue

Usually, I fall in love with a venue and I hope that I can book more weddings there to go back over and over again. For Anna and Eric’s wedding it was really a once and a lifetime location for me. Anna’s grandfather offered up his property for the wedding and it was absolutely spectacular. The day was an absolute dream and from start to finish it was full of special moments.

Flatlays

Flatlays are always a time I can use some creative freedom to make sure everything flows perfectly for photos. In this case the invitation sweet was so fun and unique with vibrant colors and fun drawings that it made it easy for them to stand out. I added some citrus fruit to enhance the colors and some patterned plates to give everything some more depth. It was so fun getting to use all of these items, it was almost like putting a puzzle together and the end result was so worth it.

First Look / Bride and Groom

Anna and Eric were high school sweethearts and their connection showed from the moment I met them. It’s no surprise they were so easy to capture, their adoration for one another seeps into every photo I took. It made first look and portraits so fun. The sun was definitely not a paid actor even if it looks like it the way it was giving off the most amazing glow. I had the best time finding dreamy places around the property for these pictures.

Bridal Portrait

Anna’s bridal portraits were absolutely stunning like, seriously, stunning. Her dress flowed like a dream and her smile was infectious. Whether she was gazing into the distance or laughing with joy, every picture was effortless.

Ceremony

The backyard ceremony was absolutely breathtaking. Mother nature showed up big time because the lighting was magical. The way they looked at each other throughout the ceremony was so genuine and full of love it was so easy to capture. The emotion didn’t end there, each and every guest was so in tune with the ceremony. It was extremely easy to see how loved they both are by their friends and family and I have to say just being a small part of their wedding made it easy to see why they are so loved by everyone around them.

Cocktail Hour

I love an outdoor cocktail hour, Anna and Eric’s was like a dream. Great weather, laughter, and those gorgeous signature drinks that really set the tone for the evening. I loved how the bar was styled it was not only functional but totally fit the aesthetic. Cocktail hour is a great time to get candids of not only the couple but their guests. And let me tell you the shots during this cocktail hour were just adorable. From laughter to sweet interactions, it was clear that everyone was having a great time. Anna and Eric created such a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy for everyone to let loose and enjoy the moment.

Cake Cutting

Direct flash during cake cutting and a champagne tower creates the perfect fun and vibrant photos. Using direct flash in these instances can highlight the joy and details in the moment. This technique helps create vibrant, memorable images that truly enhance the excitement.

Dancing

Anna’s outfit change during reception was spot on. She started in her stunning fairytale gown and switched into her sleek, sparkly number for dancing. The dress was only the beginning though because the vibes themself were absolutely immaculate. The energy everyone brought to the dance floor made it impossible not to join in. Speaking of vibes, Eric and his crew were a blast. They chose to do some cigar shots and they brought such a carefree, energetic energy that the photos are so fun. Every moment of this wedding was an absolute blast!
