Venue

The Switch House is one of Ceschaphe’s newest venues. It was once home to the PECO power plant which supplied electricity to the city. Ceschaphe worked it’s magic and made one of the most unique venues I have come across. It’s amazing how it could go from a rough and tough energy plant to a stunning one of a kind wedding venue. You can’t go wrong with any Cescaphe venue but definitely make sure you add Switch House to your list of venues to check out! 

Getting ready

The Switch House is not only the perfect place for a ceremony, it’s also the perfect place to get ready! The Switch House is also a hotel which is the perfect place to prepare for your big day. It made a rainy day a little easier for Renee because instead of leaving somewhere to head to the venue she just had to go downstairs. 

Couples portraits 

Renee and Rob didn’t let a rainy day stop them from getting amazing photos! For outdoor photos we used clear umbrellas which I always make sure to bring with me just in case any couple runs into a little rain. We then went back to Switch House and finished up portraits inside. This is a great reason to make sure you don’t bank on outdoor photos and always make sure you love indoor locations as well!

Ceremony

The Switch House is the perfect place to book if you’re looking to have an indoor ceremony or you want to make sure your rain plan is perfect. The chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows create a romantic and modern backdrop. The windows also add a ton of natural light which is perfect when you want light and airy photographs. Paired with the overwhelming happiness and love that could be felt during the ceremony it was definitely one I won’t forget! 

Margaritaville 

Renee and Rob’s friends have gifted the same unopened margaritaville to each other for each wedding. Sisterhood of the traveling margaritaville if you will. A map was made to show all the previous keepers of the margs. Renee and Rob were the first of the friends to remove it from the box. I can only imagine the relief that margaritaville must have felt LOL!

Reception 

I love how reception pictures tell a story of the absolute love for the couple. From the awesome speeches to the special parent dances it’s clear to see how close knit everyone was and how everyone there truly cares for Renee and Rob. I love getting to watch couples dance the night away with the people they hold closest.
