Blue Heron Pines

Venue:

Blue Heron Pines prides themselves on being inclusive to all couples looking to get married. Located at New Jersey’s premier golf club it offers exceptional views for your big day! They can accommodate 170-200 guests depending on a dance floor and can also host more intimate gatherings. There is a stunning ballroom for receptions as well as a covered patio for ceremony and cocktail hours.

Getting ready:

Liz got ready at Blue Heron Pines and was able to have an emotional first look with her dad. I love getting to capture these mornings when a bride gets ready with her closest girls and then gets to have an equally special moment with her dad. Brandon also got ready at the venue and had his dad help him into his tux. It never gets old watching the parents’ faces on the morning of their child’s wedding. The love and adoration they have for their kids always shines through in photos.

Couples portraits:

Liz and Brandon had their first look on the property and transitioned right into couples portraits. Luckily at a venue like Blue Heron Pines there are an abundance of places to take photos. We were able to walk around the property and get a lot of stunning shots.

Ceremony:

Liz and Brandon’s ceremony was held under a beautiful canopy of trees on the property. The light came through the trees perfectly offering a stunning glow throughout the ceremony. Through the ceremony there was a wealth of emotions from both Liz and Brandon as well as their bridal party and guests. Getting to capture those emotions never gets old!

Details:

I love when couples add little details to make the day more unique. Liz and Brandon decided to make their table numbers pictures of themselves at that age. It added a fun element for guests to see pictures of the bride and groom from childhood. They also offered personalized cocktail napkins during cocktail hour with fun facts about themselves. These little details can really make a day standout and add a fun thing for guests to remember about your day.

Favorite guest:

I wouldn’t be able to properly describe Liz and Brandon’s without adding in the fact that their little one was in attendance. Throughout the day their son was around watching mom and dad’s big day. You can tell how loved and happy he is and the pictures definitely speak for themselves. Getting to capture weddings with these special guests in attendance always adds an extra layer of love to the day.
