Anniversary Session

As a photographer, one of my favorite things to do is an anniversary session for couples whose weddings I’ve had the privilege to capture. It’s such a treat getting to reconnect with amazing couples and see how their love story has evolved since their big day. It’s always fun looking back on the wedding and hearing about their journey together since then. The energy is always upbeat and often filled with laughter and sweet memories. 

Special Places

Rio and Joey decided to keep things casual and personal, they had some photos in their home with their pets and some outdoors. There’s something really special about capturing a couple in their natural environment, snuggling up and goofing around. The relaxed nature of the session made for effortlessly perfect photos. Celebrating love in such a personal way is why I absolutely love what I do.

Wedding Cake

Rio and Joey kept the top tier of their wedding cake and cut it during the session. After a year of waiting, this moment was more than just having a sweet treat, it was a celebration of their journey together. Saving some cake is the perfect way to take a moment to reminisce on the wedding day. It is also traditionally a sign of good luck for the couple!
