Barnegat Lighthouse

The iconic Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, where the historic “Old Barney” stands, was the perfect location for soft and picturesque engagement photos. Lighthouses themselves often symbolize strength and guiding hope which are also important qualities in relationships. Abby and Mike were so easy to capture and I cannot wait for their wedding at the Indian Trail Club next June. 

Outfits

Abby and Mike wore the perfect outfits to both blend in and stand out amongst the soft neutral colors of the beach. Abby had the perfect white dress with amazing puffed sleeves and some embellishment. While Mike went with a white shirt and comfortable jeans. When choosing outfits for an engagement session I usually tell couples to go with softer colors and to make sure the outfits compliment each other without totally matching. It’s also smart to stick with solid colors instead of loud patterns that can take away from the star of the show (the ring).
