Venue

The Estate at Florentine Gardens is so breathtaking it’s hard to believe it all started with a hot dog stand! Thomas Daidone bought a truck and started selling hot dogs out of it at 18 before obtaining Florentine Gardens in 1989. Together he and his family took his entrepreneurial prowess and created a successful wedding venue. With all the amenities and culinary skill that comes with Florentine Gardens it makes for an easy yes when choosing a venue.

Getting ready

I love when a venue has the perfect getting ready location. Taylor had her photos in front of an extravagant fireplace with enchanting detail work. The room also had floor to ceiling windows which offered the perfect amount of natural light making everything feel calm and effortless. It’s a room that is so easy for a photographer to utilize, beautiful and grand without trying too hard. 

Unique couples portraits

One way to create truly unique couples portraits is to incorporate the classic luxury of a Rolls Royce. Using a classic car for photos offers a lot of different options when photographing a couple. Some photos I like to include are getting into the car, leaning on the car, sneaking a quiet moment in the backseat. All of these photos add an editorial feel to photos without looking overly posed. Also lets be honest, a Rolls Royce never goes out of style so it makes the day unforgettable! 

Ceremony

Taylor and Ben’s ceremony was one that was full of happy tears before it even started. I love when a ceremony feels real, warm and full of love. Watching a couple look at each other as if the room around them disappeared while family and loved ones look on with such genuine happiness is something that never gets old. It’s ceremonies like this one that remind a photographer why we started doing this in the first place.

Details 

I always love to swoon over a couple’s details. Some people might not recognize all the hard work that goes into making sure everything is perfect for the big day and that is where I come in. I make sure to photograph every well thought out detail so that it’s never forgotten. Taylor and Ben had such amazing details it was easy to capture them. From the seating chart to the napkins everything was perfectly curated to create an unforgettable day.
