Venue

Bonnet Island Estate in Manahawkin, New Jersey, is honestly one of my favorites. The vibe is unbeatable! With it’s stunning waterfront views and charming architecture, it creates such a dreamy backdrop for couples. I love how every corner of the estate is picturesque, from the beautiful gardens to the cozy indoor spaces. Plus, the sunset views over the water are absolutely breathtaking. It’s such a laid back yet elegant place that captures the essence of a perfect wedding day.

First look

I always love a first look and Danni and Ethan’s was no different. They wanted a completely private moment, just the two of them away from all the craziness a wedding day can offer. They picked a spot on the dock, which was perfect. I made sure to give them space and captured the sweetest moments from the sidelines. Watching them see each other for the first time was so special. I love when the couple lights up upon seeing each other.

Bridal Party

Bridal party portraits were a total blast! One of the major highlights was when a butterfly decided to join in on the fun, photobombing one of the bridesmaids’ shots. It added such a unique touch to the picture and since butterflies are a common symbol of joy and growth it was the perfect photobomb. The bridal party was so fun which always helps to capture the best possible pictures for any gallery.

Ceremony

Danni and Ethan’s wedding ceremony was an absolute delight, I was able to capture the love they have not only for one another but their families as well. It was very important to them that their nephews were apart of the day. As the boys walked down the aisle they had bubble machines which created a really fun vibe. One of them noticed the camera and didn’t mind stealing the spotlight for a moment, it was adorable! After the ceremony, the candid shots with family turned out amazing. You can feel the love and joy in each photo. I love the moments when people aren’t picture perfect and a can capture those raw emotions from everyone.

Reception

Reception was full of heartfelt moments. Their first dance was undeniably adorable, It perfectly showed their love and connection with each other. Danni’s father-daughter dance was adorable in it’s own right, Danni and her father shared a special dance that highlighted their special bond. I love capturing all the different emotions during these important dances. Dancing shifted during the night as guests joined the floor and created such a high energy, uplifting atmosphere. It was hard to be there and not join in on the fun!
