Morgan and Kevin said “I do” on a snowy January day in 2024 at The Crystal Tea Room. Their day was full of raw emotion. I felt honored to get to capture this day. From the stunning flatlays to the unreal snowy couples portraits. This amazing couple had their ceremony at one of the most stunning Churches in Philadelphia.

VENUE:

The Crystal Tea Room is a venue in the heart of Philadelphia. One amazing thing about The Crystal Tea Room is the indoor conservatory. This makes you feel like you’re outside even in inclimate weather. The heart of the venue is a stunning room full of grand archways and lavish chandeliers. I think this is a venue fit for a timeless, elegant, and luxurious couple!

BRIDAL FLATLAYS:

I was absolutely in love with these flatlays. The darker tones made everything bold and eye-catching while the white florals made it timeless and elegant. I love getting to pick out different items from my flatlay collection that I think will be perfect for each couple. I was able to bring some of my favorite trays and decor to heighten the effect of these flatlay photos. 

FIRST LOOK WITH DAD:

I always love a first look with dad and Morgan’s did not disappoint. Sometimes a bride chooses to have just her and her father a part of the first look. Morgan had her mother and sister stand in on the moment as well. Getting to capture the raw emotions from the whole family was a really special thing to see. 

CEREMONY:

Morgan and Kevin’s ceremony was held at the breathtaking Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul. A lot of couples choose to have their Church ceremonies here and it’s easy to see why. The architecture in the building looks like you just stepped into a European Church. Between the stunning architecture and the loving family and friends I found it was so easy to see the love shared between both Morgan and Kevin during their ceremony. 

SNOW PORTRAITS:

January weddings can be unpredictable, Morgan and Kevin got so lucky because their day turned into a winter wonderland. Because it was chilly, Morgan Kevin and their bridal party embraced the weather and took some stunning photos. This just goes to show off season weddings are just as incredible as weddings in the summer or fall. 

MOTHER SON DANCE:

Kevin chose to have a super intimate mother son dance. Therefore, once cocktail hour started Kevin, his siblings and Morgan stepped away to have a special moment with Kevin’s mom. What was supposed to be a mother son dance turned into something truly beautiful. All the siblings joined in and they had their own little dance party with their mother. I can confirm there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. I feel so blessed to have been able to capture for them and I won’t ever forget it. 

RECEPTION:

Morgan and Kevin danced the night away with all their favorite people by their sides. The love felt throughout the night was adamant. Morgan and Kevin are a couple who touch everyone that crosses their paths. They are welcoming, warm, and just the sweetest couple. My hope was to capture the way everyone in the room was just happy to be there celebrating such an awesome couple.
