With its extravagant ceilings, modern barn inspired architecture, and gorgeous natural light The Ivy at Ellis Preserve creates a perfect backdrop for a wedding day. Photos here feel timeless and easy. Each space is beautiful without feeling overdone. Whether you are looking for a space to host a black tie celebration or something slightly more relaxed, The Ivy has a way of making each wedding feel personal and complementary. It’s a venue that sets the scene but lets it’s couples take center stage.

There’s nothing I love more than a crisp blue and white invitation suite. The softness of the colors makes flatlays feel classic and elegant. These are also invitation suites that photograph beautifully in flatlays alongside fresh blooms, and vintage pieces. I had a lot of fun putting together Emma and TJ’s flatlays I always love trying to style them perfectly so as to capture the essence of the day.

The confidence of a bride on her wedding day is truly unmatched and Emma is the poster child for it. Her solo bridal portraits had my jaw on the floor. She looked so effortlessly elegant, you can feel the confidence and excitement radiating from her. Every little detail came together perfectly to create the most stunning, timeless photos that will never go out of style.

Some of my favorite moments from a wedding day aren’t always the ones everyone expects. They’re the little in between moments that are sometimes left behind as just a moment. Emma and TJ’s day offered a lot of these special moments. Such as the littles who walked down the aisle and looked on in admiration as Emma came down the aisle. Emma’s dad getting emotional during the first dance was a special one because you can feel the love he has for them through the photo. Or one of my favorites of the bridal party cheering on and celebrating Emma and TJ as they melt into the background. Years from now the big moments will always be remembered, but the small genuine pieces of the day are what becomes the most treasured in the gallery.

I will never get over couples having their dogs in photos with them. It’s such a sweet way to celebrate the little family you have built as a couple. Emma and TJ had their dog join in during couples portraits and it added so much personality to the photos. Having a pet there are the moments when the photos usually feel the most comfortable for couples, the happy chaos, cuddles and memories that are cherished forever.
