Sitting on an 11-acre mountain oasis Rock Island Lake Club is perfect for couples looking for a completely private wedding celebration. This secluded venue offers a ton of spots for photos. With a mix of cottage core elements such as a tree swing and romantic rowboat it is easy to create a cozy wedding gallery that will stand the test of time.

First look

The dock at Rock Island Lake Club offers the perfect location for a calm and serene first look. Surrounded only by the quiet morning air and the reflection of the trees on the lake, the rest of the day fades into the background. Erica and Jake were so giddy to see each other which makes my job that much easier. Capturing true authentic love and joy is something I will never get tired of.

Balcony

I always love the opportunity to play with different angles. Rock Island had a balcony overlooking the dock that offered the perfect spot to tuck away and capture from above. The photos look so peaceful with the vast lake just beyond Erica and Jake. It offers a dramatic, editorial style photos that always enhance any wedding gallery.

Sunset portraits

I will never say no to golden hour photos for any couple. These photos are so soft and warm. Couples end up glowing in sunset photos and they end up being some of the favorites in any gallery. Erica and Jake were so fun to capture and made these photos totally their own. Their personalities shone through perfectly and I was able to capture the most heartfelt, happy photos of them.
